"Out of Stock" Error in Checkout for Bundles

If your customers are seeing an “out of stock” error when trying to check out their bundles, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin → Products
  2. Find the bundle product created by Bundable. Newer bundles have the product type Bundle. Older bundles may have the product type svi_hidden. You can also find the correct product by clicking View Product next to the bundle in the Bundable app.
  3. Make sure the product is set to “Available on Online Store”
  4. Check that inventory tracking is set correctly --- bundle products should either have inventory tracking disabled or have sufficient stock
  5. Save changes

Why This Happens

Bundle products created by Bundable need to be available on your online store for Shopify to process the cart addition. If the availability is restricted or inventory is set to 0, Shopify blocks the checkout.
