How to View Your Order Lookup Analytics

Trackable provides insights into how your customers are using the order tracking feature. This guide shows you how to access and understand your order lookup analytics.
Accessing Your Analytics
- Log in to your Shopify admin
- Click on Apps in the left sidebar
- Find and click on Trackable
- The analytics section is displayed at the bottom of the main dashboard (Order Status page)
Understanding Your Analytics Dashboard
30-Day Lookup Count
At the top of the analytics card, a badge displays the total number of order lookups in the last 30 days. This gives you a quick overview of how frequently customers are checking their order status.
7-Day Lookup Chart
Below the total count, a bar chart shows daily lookups over the past 7 days. Each bar represents one day, with:
- The date label below each bar (e.g., “Feb 15”)
- Blue bars for days with lookups, gray bars for days with none
- Hover over any bar to see the exact number of lookups for that day via a tooltip
If no lookups have been recorded yet, you will see an empty state message: “No analytics data yet — Once customers start using your order tracking page, analytics will appear here.”
Interpreting Your Analytics
Customer Engagement
High lookup numbers generally indicate that:
- Customers are engaged with your post-purchase experience
- Your tracking page is easily accessible
- Customers are actively checking their order status rather than contacting support
Customer Service Impact
If you see a reduction in “Where is my order?” support inquiries after setting up Trackable, the self-service tracking page is doing its job.
Peak Days
Identifying days with higher lookup volumes can help you:
- Understand customer behavior patterns
- Plan customer service staffing
- Recognize shipping or delivery patterns
Monitoring Usage Limits
Free Plan
On the FREE plan, you have 100 order lookups per month. The app monitors your usage and shows warnings at two levels:
- Approaching limit (80+ lookups): A warning banner appears on your dashboard with a link to manage your subscription
- Exceeded limit (100+ lookups): A critical banner appears, and order tracking will be temporarily unavailable for your customers until you upgrade
To restore tracking for your customers, upgrade to the PRO plan via the link in the banner or through Shopify’s managed pricing page.
PRO Plan
On the PRO plan ($9.99/month), you get:
- Unlimited order lookups — no usage warnings or limits
- Custom CSS — style the tracking results page with your own CSS via the Settings page
- All features of the FREE plan
Tips for Increasing Tracking Page Usage
If your analytics show low usage, consider:
- Adding a link to the tracking page in your store’s main navigation
- Including a direct tracking link in order confirmation emails (you can use auto-fill links like ?email=EMAIL&order_id=ORDERNUM)
- Adding a “Track Your Order” link in your site footer
- Mentioning the tracking page in shipping notification emails
Troubleshooting
If your analytics are not displaying correctly:
- Refresh the page
- Ensure the app is installed correctly and the tracking page is published
