Welcome to Trackable by Sovi Apps! This guide will walk you through setting up and using our order tracking app for your Shopify store.

What is Trackable?

Trackable is a powerful app that lets your customers look up their orders and see detailed tracking information — all from a branded page on your store. With Trackable, you can:

  • Provide a dedicated order tracking page for your customers
  • Reduce customer service inquiries about order status
  • Show customers a detailed tracking experience including a shipping map, delivery progress bar, tracking timeline, order items, order notes, and pricing breakdown
  • Customize the page title, description, and button/accent color to match your brand
  • Add custom CSS to further style the tracking page (PRO plan)
  • Track analytics on how customers are using the tracking feature

Installation

  1. Install the Trackable app from the Shopify App Store
  2. When you first open the app, you will be taken to the dashboard where you can adjust settings
  3. Click Save in the top right corner — the app will automatically create a “Track Your Order” page in your Shopify store under Online Store > Pages

App Navigation

Trackable has two main sections accessible from the left sidebar navigation:

  • Order Status — Your main dashboard with tracking page settings, preview, analytics, and billing status
  • Settings — Advanced customization options including Custom CSS (PRO plan)

Setting Up Your Tracking Page

Page Settings

From the app dashboard, you can configure:

  1. Page Title — The heading displayed on the tracking page (default: “Track Your Order”)
  2. Additional Text — A description shown below the title to guide customers
  3. Button Color — Choose from six preset colors (Green, Blue, Black, Purple, Red, Orange) or pick a custom color using the color picker. This color applies to the Track Order button and all accent elements on the tracking results page, including the progress bar, status badges, tracking timeline, and carrier buttons.

After adjusting your settings, click Save to create or update your tracking page.

Live Preview

As you change your settings, the Preview panel on the right side of the dashboard updates in real-time so you can see how the form will look to your customers.

Your Tracking Page URL

Your tracking page is available at:

https://your-store.myshopify.com/pages/track-your-order

After saving, you will also see a direct link to your page in the success message. You can copy the URL or view the page from there.

How It Works

  1. Customers visit your tracking page
  2. They enter either their email address or phone number, plus their order number
  3. When they click “Track Order,” they see a detailed tracking results page with:A personalized greeting and order summary header with status badge
  4. Order notes — If you have added notes to an order, they will be displayed to the customer in a highlighted card below the order header
  5. A shipping address map showing the delivery location
  6. Shipment tracking cards with carrier name, tracking number, and a link to track on the carrier’s website
  7. A progress bar showing the delivery stages: Confirmed → In Transit → Out for Delivery → Delivered
  8. An estimated delivery date or actual delivery date
  9. A tracking timeline with detailed events, dates, and locations
  10. Order items with product images, variants, quantities, and prices
  11. A full order summary including subtotal, shipping, discounts, tax, and total
  12. The shipping address on file

You can create direct links that pre-fill the tracking form for specific customers. This is useful for order confirmation emails or customer notifications. Add URL parameters like:

https://your-store.myshopify.com/pages/track-your-order?email=customer@example.com&order_id=1001

If both the email and order number are provided, the form will automatically submit and show results immediately.

Order Lookup Analytics

The app dashboard shows you analytics about how customers use your tracking page:

  • 30-Day Lookups — Total number of lookups in the last 30 days, shown as a badge
  • 7-Day Chart — A bar chart showing lookups per day for the past 7 days. Hover over any bar to see the exact count for that day.

Subscription Plans

Trackable offers two plans:

  1. FREE Plan:100 order lookups per month
  2. All core tracking features included
  3. Analytics dashboard
  4. PRO Plan ($9.99/month):Unlimited order lookups
  5. Custom CSS for advanced tracking page styling
  6. All features of the FREE plan

You will see a warning banner on the dashboard when approaching the free tier limit (80% usage). Once you exceed 100 lookups, order tracking will be temporarily unavailable for your customers until you upgrade. You can manage your subscription from the billing page linked in the warning banner.
