Third-Party Fulfillment

Updated 2026-02-15

If you use a third-party fulfillment service (3PL, warehouse, or inventory management system), here’s how Bundable works with your setup.

If you’re using a third-party fulfillment service, we recommend using Multi-SKU mode. In this mode, each product in the bundle appears as its own line item in the order, with its own SKU and variant. This makes it straightforward for fulfillment services to pick and pack individual products.

Single-SKU Mode

In Single-SKU mode, the bundle appears as one line item with component products listed as line item properties. The bundle contents are also stored in a metafield on the variant.

For a third-party fulfillment service to read bundle contents from a Single-SKU bundle, the 3PL vendor needs to be able to parse line item properties or variant metafields. Not all fulfillment services support this by default — check with your 3PL provider to confirm.

Order Printer Compatibility

For packing slips and invoices, you may need to customize your Order Printer templates to display bundle component products from line item properties. See our article on Showing Individual Products on Packing Slip for details.
