Migrating Bundable to a New Shopify Theme

Updated 2026-02-15

When you switch to a new Shopify theme, some Bundable theme components may not transfer automatically. Here’s how to ensure your bundles continue working smoothly.

What Needs to Transfer

Bundable uses two theme blocks that may need to be re-added to your new theme:

  • Bundable Embed Block: allows you to embed bundle builders directly on pages via the theme editor
  • Bundable Redirect Block: automatically redirects customers from bundle product pages to the bundle builder

Contact our support team at support@soviapps.com with your myShopify URL, and we’ll re-publish the Bundable theme blocks to your new theme.

Option 2: Re-Add Theme Blocks Yourself

  1. Go to Online Store → Customize in your Shopify admin
  2. On the page where you had a bundle embedded, click Add Block
  3. Search for Bundable Embed and add it
  4. Enter the Bundle Hash ID (found on the Bundable dashboard)
  5. Save your changes

Bundle URLs Still Work

Your bundle builder URLs (e.g., /tools/bundle-builder/[hash-id]/new) are served through Shopify’s app proxy system and are not tied to your theme. These URLs will continue to work regardless of theme changes.

What may change with a new theme is the header/footer styling around the bundle builder page. If you notice any visual issues after switching themes, reach out to us and we’ll apply adjustments.
